Tri-City Baptist Church exists to encourage all people to pursue a lifelong, joyous relationship with Jesus Christ. Our history dates back to 1989, when a small group of people, founded this church in Hickory, North Carolina. We are a local self-governing, autonomous church. That means that we are governed by our own, not an outside organization. We choose to participate in both local and the National Southern Baptist Convention.
Our congregation spans a range of ages and backgrounds. You’ll see people dressed in all styles—from jeans to business suits. Our worship style is “blended”—meaning that services include both traditional and contemporary music.
Each service lasts about one hour and fifteen minutes. At the end of the Service, we have a guest reception located in the Gathering Place. This is an opportunity for guests to meet Brother Jerry, other pastoral staff, and receive a gift bag.
